As promised a while back, I just have to say something about the 78th Academy Awards ceremony. I am actually doing this as I have something else that I have to discuss that is more significant and much more bizarre, but I'll get to that later, so back to the the “back-riders” academy awards.

I was actually surfing the limited amount of satellite channels that we have in South Africa, because there was about the same amount of crap on as usual. I would say that on that specific evening, the advertisements probably deserved awards, compared to the programming, and the nonsense one had to endure with the academy awards ceremony.
