Before I continue, I have to say that I followed this circus with real interest and therefore I have quite a good amount of knowledge about the reported “facts of the matter”. I can only call it a circus, because it reflects on so many things in our country, including what our politicians are like, our judicial system and the people that run things in our country. It touches the way we see others and also gives a good indication of how the courts in this country (South Africa) see rape victims.
