As I don’t have the time to address all of the aspects I only put down a few of my thoughts. One would be able to write much more about this topic, but these were just my immediate thoughts I scribbled down…

Yes. There is no mistake. That is exactly what I wanted to say and there are so many reasons for that, but most of it comes from a number of events in the past few days, where the atheist fundamentalists achieved “successes” in some or other way. The problem is not that the successes have any specific meaning, but the reaction from the other atheist fundamentalists actually show their true colours.

One of the comments I read stood out: “Christians are next to Muslims the most intolerant of all. Religion have no right to existence.” The irony!

Interestingly, most of those in praise of the developments have very similar opinions, which fall along these lines. “Because I wish not to believe in a deity, no-one else should be afforded the right to believe in the deity.” In other words, there should be no religious freedom, as no-one should have the right to have a religion. And this seems to be the new “Politically Correct”.

But let us just analyse why these people fear to believe in a God. It is quite easy if you use a holistic approach and look at the sum of all their arguments. Most people who fear the existence of a God, also believe in the “Big Bang” theory. They believe in the theory of “Evolution”. They also believe that man (humanity) have the ability to keep existing for millions of years. That man has the ability to control the environment. Despite the scientific evidence that humanity will definitely come to an end at some stage they want to believe, it will never end. They want to be immortals, because immortals don’t have to fear the inevitable expansion of the sun, as its nuclear reaction starts to fizzle out. They dream of reaching another inhabitable planet that they will reach and annex. Just a pity that at our current maximum speed of travel, they will never reach it, nor will their children, or their children, or theirs…

Oh and their other proposition is that they can fold the fabric of space-time to travel to anywhere in a fraction of a second, but before they can do that, the challenge would be to shift the sun or our whole solar system, because it will take much less power to to shift our whole solar system than to fold the universe onto itself.

Their counter argument will of course be that fantasy writers have predicted the travel to the moon. The problem with that argument is that the fantasy writers wrote about things that are within the currently known facts, achievable. Those were very small achievements in relation to the universe. We know that you can reach the moon in X amount of time. But we also know we cannot reach our closest neighbouring star without a number of generations going by. Before we get to their new fantasies we first have to achieve the small steps to take us from one point to the next. You cannot build the house,if you do not even know how to make the bricks.

But back to the original point. All of this and the wish for the immortal humanity is driven by fear, which is the fear of the inevitable death of all humans.

Sadly people. You all are going to die! Yes, I am going to die and you are going to die. And so will each of us that have received the gift of life, die in the end. My “end” may be sooner than yours, or later, we don’t know, but it is certain that we are going to die.

And let’s get this straight too. If you (the atheists) are so concerned about the effect of humans on the environment, why don’t you do the only sensible thing in relation to that particular aspect. We therefore know (according to your theory) that humans are responsible for everything bad relating to the climate on the planet. Therefore, if you remove the humans, order will be restored. So the easy solution is to stop breeding. Allow the human race to disappear and all the animals will live happily ever after on a planet, without the interference of the nasty parasite. We are after all mere animals without a soul, without a cause and without a God. Just take your own argument to its ultimate conclusion!

But the fear goes further. It is the fear of taking responsibility for our actions. Religious teaching tells us that if we sinned against another, we need to take responsibility, asked for forgiveness and to amend our ways. This argument seems to be such a frightening concept for those who do not believe, but it is the actual basis of sustaining life. But the mere thought of the “hell” is also so frightening that we should remove that idea from our lives. We do not need responsibility and we do not have to take others into account, because we need to make money. We need to enrich ourselves with earthly possessions and we need to chase after our own pleasure. Without a God, there is no consequences. Without a God, there is only “fun”. Sadly the ideals of caring other humans, animals, plants and the planet as a whole, on the one hand, and chasing your own selfish pleasure, on the other hand are mutually exclusive.

Please tell me then, why are you so afraid if you have no soul. So what, if I choose to kill you. It will have no effect and there should be no consequence. We are merely animals after all according to your theory. Are we not then exactly the same as the Lion, who kills off the cubs of the other male he defeated to become leader of the pride. It is evolution after all. Only the strong will survive. So, if you are weak, I have the right to kill you to ensure a stronger species. Is that what you want? Because no God and pure “evolution” tells me that this is how we will get stronger as a species.

Your view also tells us that Hitler was not only acceptable, but his views are the things we should strive for. According to you “racial cleansing” will make humanity stronger. And no, don’t tell me that you disagree with this, because your belief system of evolution makes provision for this as a guarantee of a stronger species. When you accepted that there was no God and that we are merely animals on this planet competing for the ultimate survival, you signed up for a view similar to Hitler’s ideals. We have no souls after all. “Only the strong will survive” includes the extermination of the weaker of the species as the basis for its existence. It is inherently built into evolution.

If you do not agree with that, then it just merely indicates the fear you have of everything that threatens your own selfish existence. The fear that you might be the weak one that must be exterminated to ensure the survival of the stronger ones. Why are you so afraid to take your own arguments to it ultimate conclusion? Is it because it might now affect you?

Fear! Yes, that is what it is. It is only fear that drives you! The fear of death. The fear of your own death which you try to hide behind the many humanitarian causes you support. The causes that actually have their origin in the the religion/s you despise. The religion that tells us that we have souls, that we have to care for each other, that we need to take others into account. The religions that tell us how we should interact in a peaceful manner in our everyday lives. (I am not talking about the fundamentalists, but about the average middle of the road moderate, Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, etc. Those whose teachings tell us to get along with the others.)

But here is your reality check. You are going to die. And no other person that dies is allowed to have the hope of an eternal peace and happiness, because you are too afraid of the threat of “hell”. According to you, therefore there must be no hell, because no hell removes the fear of your ultimate and inevitable death. It gives you the comfort of thinking that there is no consequence to anything that you may have done on earth. Sadly for you, your penalty for life, is the exact same as that of the murderer that got the death sentence. Both of you die in the end. There is nothing that distinguishes you from Hitler. Just as dead as Hitler is today, so dead will you be in 5, 10, 20 or maybe 50 years. You will both be dead and what you will leave behind is a small heap of chemical elements and a bit of water. And that too is the ultimate conclusion of your arguments.

And yes, the human race will reach its end too. It could be in a million years, if we adapt to our environment successfully (real evolution). Or it could be a few years, as the solar system, the galaxy or the universe, all have much more power than us and anything could actually happen to disturb or destroy life on this planet. But the fact remains that we will all be dead at some or other point in the future.

Face it! Shit is getting real!
